Mission
Our mission is to provide effective and engaging Catholic study programs, books, and other resources to the parish to help people to grow in their Catholic faith and deepen their relationship with Christ.  

Meetings: Wednesday evenings, Cody Enrichment Center, 7:00pm-9:00pm

Goals:

1. To better catechize the adults of the parish through a deeper knowledge of the Scriptures.  The goal is for the entire parish not to be intimidated by Scripture but look at it as a love letter from our Savior and His way of guiding us in our daily life.  CCC 133 - ‘The Church “forcefully and specifically exhorts all the Christian faithful…to learn the surpassing knowledge of Jesus Christ, by frequent reading of the divine Scriptures.  Ignorance of the Scriptures is ignorance of Christ.”’  
2. Help adults to have a better appreciation of the great gifts that we have in the Sacraments of the Catholic Church with a special appreciation for the Mass and the Eucharist.   CCC 1131 – ‘The sacraments are efficacious signs of grace, instituted by Christ and entrusted to the Church, by which divine life is dispensed to us…’  CCC 1324 – ‘The Eucharist is "the source and summit of the Christian life.’.
3. To help adults encounter Christ in a deeper way through prayer.  To teach the importance of prayer in our daily lives, and how only in nurturing our relationship with Christ through prayer and the sacraments can we come to know Christ fully, and understand his love and mission for us.  CCC 2558 – ‘”Great is the mystery of the faith!"…This mystery, then, requires that the faithful believe in it, that they celebrate it, and that they live from it in a vital and personal relationship with the living and true God. This relationship is prayer.’  CCC 2591 – ‘God tirelessly calls each person to this mysterious encounter with Himself...’
