Mission Statement:

 

The Consolation Ministry strives to be a loving service to the parishioners of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church  and the surrounding community. The ministry provides support and consolation for the loss of family members and close loved ones.

 

Meetings:

3rd Tuesday of the month in the Rectory Conference Room at 7:00 PM.

 

 

 

Consolation Ministry Activities:

Volunteers on the Consolation Ministry can participate in many different ways and as little or as much as you are able. The following are a sample of the different activities we need volunteers to assist with:

            Funeral Mass

Wake Service

Reception

Post Funeral Follow – up  (cards, letters, phone calls, etc)

All Soul’s Day Mass

Children’s Mass in December in conjunction with the Elizabeth Ministry
