In the 2000 restoration project, the carpeting in the sanctuary was lifted and the original “heart-of-pine” pine floor was restored and refinished with new Persian runners installed in the main and side aisles.  New carpeting was installed in the choir loft, staircase, Sacristy and St. Bridget’s Room (behind the altar).  The Stations of the Cross were also cleaned and restored and a new cross was purchased for the Corpus, which now hangs on the wall of the east projection.  Lastly, the walls and ceiling were repainted, interior lighting fixtures were rewired, and wooden blinds were installed on all of the windows.
