Anyone residing in the Mandarin Community, regardless
of religious affiliation, is eligible to be served by the Mandarin Food Bank.
The zip codes the Mandarin Food Bank serves are 32217, 32223, 32256, 32257,
32258, and 32259.
We welcome you to come to the Food Bank anytime
during our open hours (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from
To receive assistance, you must bring with you a
photo identification, a social security number for each family member, and a
utility bill, a piece of mail, or rent receipt that is not older than one month
from your place of residence in Mandarin.
We ask that all clients try to wait at least 8 weeks
before seeking additional assistance from us.
Also, please note that all of the items that we
distribute were donated. Thus, we ask that you check each item you receive
before using it.
The
Clothes Closet is closed at this time due to our new construction. When open, it is
available to provide clothing for men, women, and children, as well as small
household items, for our clients. The use of the Clothes Closet is not limited
to clients from the Mandarin area. Anyone in the
